Ever dreamt of having your own arcade cabinet at home with some glorious Rare Ltd. titles of the past? Well, the professionals at Arcade1Up may have just the thing for you soon!
The company recently revealed that it was now working on releasing its own line of Killer Instinct arcade cabinets. While the price and release date are presently unknown, Arcade1Up also shared that each cabinet will contain the bonus games Killer Instinct 2, Battletoads, and Battletoads / Double Dragon. Additionally, a Live WiFi feature will allow players to fight each other over the internet!
Here’s a description of the cabinet below, along with a fuller look at its proposed design:
“You wanted a killer addition to your home arcade collection, and once again Arcade1Up has heard your battle cries. Killer Instinct™ is here!
Renowned for providing authentic arcade experiences in a home arcade form factor, Arcade1Up game cabinets are absolute must-haves for family game rooms, man caves, or a welcome distraction in the office. They play great, look great, and are instant conversation pieces.
Killer Instinct™. Fans loved it, critics loved it. For many retrogamer enthusiasts it’s a definitive title of the mid ‘90s, with the gameplay, soundtrack, and 3D-rendered graphics all revered. Relive that video game era with this stop-you-in-your-tracks arcade cabinet, that also includes Killer Instinct 2™, Battletoads™ (yes, the arcade version!), and Battletoads™ / Double Dragon™ as a bonus game.
Need to add some height to this cabinet? No problem, the included matching riser gets you there. Want to pick a fight remotely? The Live WiFi feature allows you to take on opponents anywhere, playing from their own cabinet.
The Killer Instinct™ home arcade cabinet from Arcade1Up. If you’re thinking, “this is awesome,” your instincts serve you well.”
