Following the release date announcement, some additional details about the Legend Of Zelda live action movie has surfaced online.
These details come via an entry on Productionlist.com, which reveals that the movie will be filming in New Zealand from November 2025 to April 2026. It also includes a description of the movie’s plot, which you can find below:
‘The Legend of Zelda’ follows Link, a young warrior destined to protect the magical kingdom of Hyrule from the forces of darkness. The land is under threat from Ganon, a ruthless warlord who seeks the Triforce—an ancient relic said to grant limitless power. To stop him, Link must embark on a perilous journey, battling monstrous creatures, exploring treacherous dungeons, and solving intricate puzzles to uncover sacred artifacts that can aid him in his quest.
From the looks of it, it seems that the plan is for the film to be quite accurate to the games, from exploring dungeons, solving puzzles and getting new weapons and items. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
