ASHEN Arrives December 9 On Nintendo Switch

Annapura Interactive and A44 have announced ASHEN, an open world co-op RPG, is coming to Nintendo Switch.

The game will launch December 9, 2019 on the Nintendo eShop. More details will be revealed in the future.

Check out the trailer and details:

Ashen is an open-world cooperative role-playing game about a homeless man looking for a place to call home.

As you venture into Ashen, you will occasionally find other players in a massive open world, similar to the passive multiplayer of Journey. It is up to you to decide how to deal with them: fight against evil together, invite them to your group or just ignore them.

Ashen is faithful to the “souls” genre of resistance-based combat, introducing players into a punishing but satisfyingly vast world. But here is the difference: no two game experiences are the same.

Ashen has no shortage of dangerous encounters, from hostile enemies to indigenous creatures. You will be rewarded for studying the environment and its inhabitants, planning your adventure instead of flying through the air. The flora and fauna of the world are not simply fantastic; They are often fatal. Each confrontation, no matter how trivial, will have potentially serious consequences.

When discovering survivors, you will have the option to invite them to your city. But these are not mere adventurers: they are potential contributors, who bring a lot of craft skills, from blacksmithing to food-seeking experience.
