Aspyr has shared more details about the game-breaking bug that was discovered for Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II.
Following the initial reports, it seems that the bug “only affects a small number of players”, but will still be addressed in an upcoming patch. In the meantime, Aspyr has suggested the following workaround to complete the game, which involves using the in-game cheats menu:
- Triple click the left thumbstick, open the cheats menu, and select warp.
- Warp to a random location while on the party selection screen before the cutscene.
- Follow the same steps above to warp to OND504.
- Make sure not to head to the merchant quarter, or the game will crash.
Although its unfortunate that there is still no date for the patch, it is good to know that a workaround is available for those affected. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
