Astronaut Pikachu Plush Sent To Space As Part Of Pokemon X ESA Collaboration
The Pokemon Company is collaborating with the European Space Agency (ESA) as part of World Space Week.
As part of this collab, French astronaut Sophie Adenot took an astronaut Pikachu plush into space with her on a mission from April 11th-June 27th, 2026. They orbited the Earth orbited the Earth 1,040 times, documenting the journey with photos. Exhibitions will be held at various ESA affiliated facilities and museums during World Space Week (October 4th to October 10th), along with a Pokemon GO collab and exclusive merch on the PokemonCenter.com website.
