Bakutsuri Bar Hunter Announced For Nintendo Switch

In addition to Fishing Spirits, Bandai Namco will also be bringing another fishing game called Bakutsuri Bar Hunter to the Switch.

Bakutsuri Bar Hunter for Switch will be the second game based on the media franchise of the same name. The first Bakutsuri Bar Hunter game was released for the 3DS as a free-to-play title, and used a unique “Bakutsuri Bar Rod” fishing reel peripheral. The game would have players scan barcodes to find fish, and reel them in using the fishing reel attachment.

You can check out how it works in the video below:

Currently, it is not known whether this game will be a port of the 3DS version, or a new entry entirely. We will bring more information on this rather unique fishing game as it becomes available.
