Bandai Namco Seems To Be Releasing 6 Switch Games With Download Code In Box

Today we have a very weird piece of news coming from new product listings on Amazon Spain.

Amazon Spain has put up six listings for previously released physical games by Bandai Namco Entertainment. What’s strange about these listings is that these physical games come with a download code in box, rather than a Game Card.

The games currently listed for such a release include are as follows:

  • One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • My Hero One’s Justice
  • One Piece Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
  • Little Nightmares Complete Edition

It’s pretty interesting to see Bandai Namco making this move, but we are pretty sure not all customers are going to be happy about it. One reason behind this decision could be the high cost of manufacturing Game Cards.

What do you think?
