The Digital Foundry team has given Bayonetta 2 a spin on Nintendo Switch, and here’s what they found out after comparing it to the original Wii U release.
Both the Switch (docked and undocked) and Wii U versions of Bayonetta 2 run at 720p. Visuals wise, everything looks identical to the Wii U version. When it comes to frame rate, Switch (docked) is about 10 to 20 FPS faster than Wii U, but it may still dip below 60 FPS during certain parts of the game. When undocked, Switch still performs better than Wii U, but not as good as docked.
