Nintendo has updated their official page for Bayonetta 3 with some new details about the game.
As pointed out by XDitto on Reddit, the official eshop page for Bayonetta 3 has been updated with a new rating from the ESRB. As expected, the game has apparently been rated “M” for Mature, due to “Violence, Blood and Gore, Partial Nudity, Strong Language”. That said, the game still is not listed on the ESRB’s official site, making it somewhat uncertain if this is the final rating for the game.
Notably, the tag also has the “In-Game Purchases” label at the bottom, suggesting that it will receive additional purchasable content following its release. This could be anything from DLC or cosmetics, and we will likely have to wait for further updates from Nintendo or Platinum Games to see what this additional content could be.
