Earlier this afternoon Japanese retailers started taking pre-orders for the Bayonetta Climax Edition, which includes both Bayonetta 1 and 2 on separate game carts (there’s no other region which has this arrangement).
According to reports, the Bayonetta Climax Edition went up in the afternoon on Yodobashi Camera, Amazon Japan, Nojima Online, Bic Camera, and Rakuten Books. All it took was a few minutes for pre-orders to completely deplete on smaller retailers, leaving only Bayonetta 2 available for grabs.
The only retailer that is still taking pre-orders is the My Nintendo Store, and that may not last too long either. The store is also selling the Climax Edition without any games at 2700 yen (USD24) for collectors and those downloading digitally.
