Media Create has just released video game sales data from last week in Japan.
Notable mentions include Bayonetta Non-Stop Climax Edition (contains both Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta 1) and Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta Non-Stop Climax Edition debuted at 13th place, selling 11,694 copies. Bayonetta 2 debuted at 14th, moving 9,532 units.
For comparison’s sake, Bayonetta 2 moved 33,000 units at launch when it first came out on Wii U. However, the game came with a free copy of Bayonetta 1, which isn’t the case on Nintendo Switch.
Meanwhile, Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continued to sell like there’s no tomorrow. Both games were 10 places higher than Bayonetta Non-Stop Climax Edition and Bayonetta 2, moving 21,815 copies and 19,280 copies respectively.
Nintendo Switch hardware sales are still strong, as 39,303 consoles reached the hands of consumers last week.

12k copies, very rare edition.... XD
Great job again Nintendo: all their preorders are chaotic making people think it will be hard to grab one but in the end its pretty easy. Same as Metroid 3DS "collector": wait few months and price will drop to its "official" one.
Nota: Bayonetta 1+2 bundle was sold 40€ on WiiU with 2 physical games, this time its 80€ for 1 digital game +1 Steelbook on Switch.
