Black Friday shopping data is in and Nintendo’s hottest selling console, the Nintendo Switch, takes tops place with Microsoft’s Xbox One X. Yet, as announced before, the Nintendo Switch saw no discount across the board during a time where almost everyone else is providing huge discounts.
The huge popularity of the Nintendo Switch allowed for retailers such as Target and Walmart to keep its US$300 price tag, while only giving it an “in stock” in the promotional leaflets. This is unlike Microsoft’s hot-selling console, the Xbox One X, which received a small discount. The other product to get to the top spot while not getting any discount is Apple’s Airpods.
