It looks like an obscure strategy classic could soon be getting its second wind on modern gaming consoles!
The folks at Gematsu have discovered what appears to be a placeholder site for Brigandine: Lunasia Senki – on Nintendo Switch and PS4. The original Brigadine was a Strategy RPG which launched in 1998 for the PlayStation 1.
You won’t be able to access the website right now (it blocks foreign IPs), but its source code contains the key artwork seen above. The game also received a recent trademark under Happinet Games in Japan.
It’s not entirely clear what the website is for, but most are speculating that Happinet Games will be revealing the game at Tokyo Game Show 2019 – which is coming up pretty soon. We’ll report back when we hear more.
