Can you believe it, Street Fighter hits the big 30-years-old already. To celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary, Capcom has announced a special 30th Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Switch, as well as, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The 30th Anniversary Collection will come with a whole lot of exciting stuff. Most importantly, 12 full Street Fighter games in it: the original Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
Fans will even be able to fight online in four of the classic titles, including Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3. In fact, Capcom has recreated the classic gaming experience by allowing you to compete against CPU fighters while waiting for your friends in online battles.
Also included with the collection is a series museum, with a huge library of included assets to take fans down the memory lane. There will be a timeline of events to be explored, concept art, character bios, trivia info, and even a Street Fighter music player to let players reminisce about 30 years of Street Fighter.
The game will be released in May 2018 both digitally and physically on the Nintendo Switch.
