During Capcom’s investors meeting in June 2020, a few questions were asked about the Monster Hunter franchise.
First, Capcom was asked whether there were any plans to bring Monster Hunter World to Nintendo Switch. The company confirmed that they have no plans to do that.
Next, an investor said that he wants Capcom to release a Monster Hunter game that middle school and high school age students could enjoy, similar to how Monster Hunter 3 was enjoyed by those in that age group during the PSP era. The company confirmed that they are working on a new Monster Hunter game that targets middle and high school age students.
Assuming that’s the case, we could assume something along the lines of the Monster Hunter 3 and Monster Hunter 4 games, which could possibly come to Nintendo Switch.
