Japan is taking their eSports very seriously and Capcom is not going to let itself be left behind. Starting with one of their most celebrated franchise, Street Fighter, Capcom’s Street Fighter League will invite Six teams from both unlicensed and Japanese eSports Union (JeSU) licensed competitors in 2019.
Capcom is said to be focusing on three-on-three team battles for the Street Fighter League and will run compliment to Capcom’s existing Street Fighter eSports activities in North America
