Ever since the debut of Cuphead, many have become ardent fans of its unique rubber hose animation style – with even more folks learning about the platforming action game after Cuphead’s surprise inclusion as a Mii costume in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Well, one fan of both Super Smash Bros. and Cuphead is now taking that crossover to the next level!
Daniel Cortes, a cartoonist on Twitter, recently kicked off his own series of Super Smash Bros. illustrations featuring various fighters from its growing roster – albeit in an artstyle similar to Cuphead! So far, Cortes has worked through the chronologically oldest characters (i.e. Mr. Game & Watch) up till Pit from Kid Icarus.
