Previously, we reported that producer Adi Shankar (behind the Castlevania Netflix show) was working on a new animated series. Some rumors speculated that he would be working on a Legend of Zelda project.

Sadly, those rumors appear to be untrue.

Adi Shankar revealed today that he would be working on a Devil May Cry series. According to Shankar, it will connect somehow to the Castlevania Netflix series through a ‘bootleg multiverse’ – although the producer did not elaborate further on what he meant.

While fantastic for DMC fans, we’ll just have to wait for someone else to produce a Zelda series next time.
