Celeste Instagram Account Receives New Update, Possibly A Hint That “Farewell” DLC Will Launch Soon

For quite some time now, fans of Celeste have been eagerly awaiting the release of its final “Farewell” Chapter 9 DLC.

Fans of Celeste may be aware of the real-life instagram account developer Matt Makes Games created for game. The account features “photographs” taken by the character Theo, documenting his journey through the game.

The account has been inactive for quite some time, but was recently updated with the following post:

Given the mention of the word “Farewell” in the caption, some fans have taken this update to be a tease that the Chapter 9 DLC for Celeste will be launching soon. Last we heard, the Chapter 9 DLC had seen multiple delays due to the growing scope of the project. Hopefully, this is indeed a sign that they’ve managed to make good progress towards release!
