Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc., the three owners of The Pokemon Company, have filed for a new trademark relating to a product that will be going on sale starting late July.
As seen above, the trademark is for Chansey Peaches (らきもも), which is to be the name and logo for boxes of Akatsuki Peaches sold in the Fukushima region of Japan. This is presumably because Chansey was crowned the official Pokemon of the Fukushima prefecture earlier this year. Boxes of Chansey Peaches will go on sale later this July, containing about 6 to 8 fruits each.
