China: Unscrupulous Sellers Steal Mew And Sell The Poke Ball Plus Without It

We have a very strange report coming from mainland China that concerns the Poke Ball Plus accessory.

According to Chinese gaming site Chuapp, some Chinese gamers are reporting that the Poke Ball Plus they purchase from retailers in China are missing Mew. This is very unusual as every Poke Ball Plus contains one Mew.

Upon further investigation, the Chinese gamers realized that there are some stores extracting Mew out of the Poke Ball Plus before selling it to consumers. Chuapp says that this is another tactic by sellers to sell Mew separately to customers in order to rake in more profit.

Chinese gamers are not taking this lying down – they have named and shamed the stores which are engaging in this act on social media website Weibo. When the “black stores” were confronted, customers were given an excuse that the “distribution for Mew has ended”, which is completely false.
