A new Chinese cartoon called Tortoise Hare Battle has been caught stealing Nintendo’s official theme song for Super Mario Odyssey.
Tortoise Hare Battle’s theme song is none other than a rip off of Jump Up, Super Star!, a song owned and copyrighted by Nintendo. Here it is in action:
According to Chinese Nintendo, the stolen song’s lyrics is composed by Liu Fangyi, music by Shang Peng, and it is sang by Wang Yalin.
This isn’t the first time Nintendo’s music has been stolen by companies in China and even the US government.
What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
Thanks, Brandon.
