Today we have some interesting news coming from China, a place where you see things like copycat Joy-Con and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers.
Apparently, a Chinese manufacturer attempted to make a bootleg Ring-Con, an accessory part of Ring Fit Adventure. Listings for the bootleg Ring-Con appeared on Chinese e-commerce platforms but were soon taken down.
When a customer asked why, they have this to say (translated by Chinese Nintendo):
Buyer: “Why is the listing for the third-party Ring-Con removed?”
Seller: “Hello. The factory had failed to develop and reproduce it.”
Looks like for whatever reason, the Ring-Con is too hard to imitate!
