Last week, Nintendo shared an advisory to parents that the Nintendo Labo VR Kit should only be used by children aged 7 and above.
The very same advisory exists on the packaging of the Nintendo Labo VR Kit across the world. Interestingly though, the Nintendo Labo VR Kit in Hong Kong has a slightly different advisory.
Instead of a “aged 7 and up” recommendation, the Hong Kong version recommends VR Kit to be used by children aged 8 and above. Here’s the proof:
It’s currently unclear why there is a difference between the advisory issued by Nintendo in Hong Kong and other regions. We doubt it’s a printing error and are leaning toward laws and regulations in Hong Kong itself. Hopefully we’ll find out in the future.
