Closer Look At Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion’s Octoling And More

In today’s Splatoon 2 Twitter update, Nintendo showed off concept artwork of the Octoling in Octopus and Octoling modes.

Also included in the concept art were Inklings for comparison’s sake, which don’t look very different from their Octoling counterparts.

Next up, JAMSTEC revealed a train station building that appears in the Octo Expansion has a couple of chimneys that emit black smoke. These chimneys were inspired by the “black smokers” that exist in the deep ocean in the real world, pumping out magma into the environment at a very high temperature.
