Decades ago, Nintendo of Europe prepared weekly Club Nintendo comics featuring characters such as Mario, Luigi, and Kirby in Germany.
In the comics, Kirby was known for filling in strange and unflattering roles. The reason behind this has been revealed today. Claude Moyse, the writer of the comics, personally dislikes Kirby and Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai.
Unfortunately, Moyse didn’t explain why he hated Sakurai. It’s not even known whether both have met each other in the past. He used the comics as a way to get back to him and Sakurai’s little baby Kirby.
