Are you somewhat of an audiophile? Want something more out of your Nintendo Switch gaming experience? Well, look no further as Creative has got you covered!
Digital entertainment products manufacturer Creative, known for their Sound Blaster sound cards, has ventured beyond the PC and has now launched a new product to provide Switch users a premium audio solution that is right on the budget.
The company is now introducing a portable gaming media device called the Sound Blaster G3 – the first external USB DAC and Amp sound card powered by USB-C. It is specifically made to work with the Nintendo Switch and is designed to be a “fuss-free, driverless audio upgrade for your gaming consoles.” Basically, it’s a plug-and-play device, without any need for a driver software.
Watch how it works below:
It’s here, people! The first Sound Blaster made specifically for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch users.
Sound Blaster G3 is our very first external USB DAC and Amp sound card that is powered by USB-C and is made to work directly with your PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac via a plug-and-play format with USB audio — all without the need for separate driver support!
Debuting our latest GameVoice Mix feature for gaming audio / voice chat balance, the Sound Blaster G3 also comes with direct volume and mic control, as well as a dedicated Sound Blaster Command mobile app for on-the-fly audio customization without having to exit your game’s screen.
If all you have ever known is the default audio on your consoles, try the G3. We’ll let its performance speak for itself.
However, there’s a bit of a letdown, though: the GameVoice Mix feature isn’t compatible with the Nintendo Switch unlike the other platforms. You can take a look at the chart below for the full summary of its compatibility features.
For the price point, Creative is now offering the Sound Blaster G3 for USD 79.99. If you’re interested, you may order via their website here.
