Cruis’n Blast is headed to the Switch soon, and it looks like the creator of this arcade racing series is thinking about bringing the older entries back on the Switch!
In an interview with NintendoLife, Eugene Jarvis mentioned the possibility of remastering the older Cruis’n titles that were originally released for arcades, namely Cruis’n USA, Cruis’n World and Cruis’n Exotica:
We’ve been tossing around some ideas – one thing I’ve been tossing around is to remaster the classic arcade Cruis’n trilogy especially for the Switch, up-resing the content to full HD and solid 60Hz frame rate!
It would be interesting to see these classics with a fresh coat of paint, and if the upcoming Cruis’n Blast is successful we might actually see this idea come to fruition.
