Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils Heading To Switch On August 24, 2023

Switch owners can look forward an acrobatic new adventure launching next week!

Developer Colorgrave has revealed that retro-style platforming game Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils will be hitting the Switch eShop on 24 August 2023. The game will see players hopping swiftly through level as the acrobatic Belle and her companion Chime, as she embarks on a quest to save her boyfriend from nefarious troublemakers.

Check out the latest trailer below:

Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils is an acrobatic 2D platformer where you play as Belle and her companion Chime, jumping, vaulting and swinging your way through levels in a world inspired by classic handheld games. Chase down Bonnie and her crew of troublemakers to get your boyfriend back!

  • Experience 2D platforming freedom as you jump and vault as Belle, using her companion Chime to swing on objects or topple enemies.
  • Each level is built for replayability – go slow and steady to find secrets, or test your skills to find new routes and reach the goal as quickly as possible.
  • Take a break from the action to explore the overworld or try out minigames.
  • Think you’ve mastered the game? Check out Arcade Mode after the credits roll for a different play experience with nine levels of difficulty.
  • Play along to a retro-inspired soundtrack that will have you thinking it’s 1998 all over again.
