CyberConnect2 is finally going to reveal more details about FUGA – the first game in its ‘Trilogy of Vengeance’ project!
The Japanese developer recently announced that it would be holding a reveal broadcast for the strategy-sim game on 25 March 2019 (8 pm JST|7 am EST). In fact, the YouTube stream is now on standby, as seen below.
Unfortunately, CyberConnect2 also announced that the game would only launch in Fall 2019 – a little later than its previous Summer 2019 release window.
From previous teases, FUGA (or ‘Fugue On The Battlefield’) will see players commanding a group of children in a war-torn world, as they search for their parents while riding a monstrous war tank. The game presumably takes place in the same world as Solatorobo (DS), but promises a more grim plot – where players may have to sacrifice any of the children’s lives to fuel the tank’s primary cannon. The game will be getting a Switch version.
We’ll be waiting in anticipation for the broadcast to go live, and we’ll be reporting on any new details that we hear. Stay tuned!
