Daedalic Entertainment Announces The Lord of the Rings: Gollum For 2021 Release

Earlier this week, Daedalic Entertainment announced The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. An action adventure game based on Tolkien’s iconic character, to be released sometime in 2021.

Created in partnership with Middle-earth enterprises, the game will explore the Gollum’s adventures before the events of the novels and films, while he was in possession of the One Ring. It is intended to be the first in a series of games based on the Lord of the Rings franchise, with plans for future titles already in the works.

The game is targeted for release on PC in 2021, as well as “all relevant console platforms at the time”. Presumably, this will include the  Switch, along with whatever other mysterious iterations of the console Nintendo has in the works. We will bring further information as it comes.

What do you think? Would you be interested in seeing this game on Switch? Let us know in the comments below.
