Although the Version 8.0.0 update for the Switch added a ton of great new features to the console, it has apparently caused a game-breaking bug for THQ Nordic’s de Blob.
Several Switch owners have been reporting problems playing de Blob after the update went live. Specifically, the game no longer progresses past the first loading screen, and instead throws out an error code. This issue has been confirmed to affect both the eshop and retail versions.
While there has been no official response from Nintendo or the developers so far, hopefully a patch to resolve this issue is on the way.
