DeNA, the developers of the Nintendo smartphone apps, have confirmed that Mario Kart Tour is free to start.
What this means is Mario Kart Tour will be a free download on both iOS and Android, but it will include in-app purchases. DeNA has not elaborated on their strategy for Mario Kart Tour’s in-app transactions yet.
Mario Kart Tour is scheduled to launch on smartphones by April 2019.
