Legendary and Universal Studios have announced filming has begun for the Detective Pikachu live action film.
The movie is expected to hit cinemas all over the world in May 2019, giving the studio ample time to film and add in Pokemon in post-editing scenes. Detective Pikachu’s plot is expected to closely follow the video game‘s storyline, and will be the very first Pokemon live action movie to be filmed in history.
