Dragalia Lost Earns $28 Million In First Month, Revenue-Per-Download Higher Than Fire Emblem Heroes

It seems like Cygames and Nintendo’s Dragalia Lost is raking in the dough pretty well.

According to Sensor Tower, the game managed to hit a revenue of $28 million worldwide in its first month. This is just under half of what Fire Emblem Heroes managed in its first 30 days. Pretty impressive for a fresh mobile title that features none of Nintendo’s IP!

More impressively, the game apparently outdid Fire Emblem Heroes in terms of revenue-per download. Namely, $18 was spent per download of Dragalia Lost – which is about three times higher than what Fire Emblem Heroes pulled off in its first month!

Check out all the highlights below (courtesy of GoNintendo):

  • Grossed an estimated $28 million since launch
  • Second largest mobile launch in US and Japan, grossing $23.5 million combined
  • Dragalia Lost made just under half as much as Fire Emblem Heroes
  • This is 16 percent more than Super Mario Run did in its first month on iOS
  • Roughly 67 percent of the game’s revenue during its first month came from Japan
  • The game was installed an estimated 1.3 million times in its first month

  • Average revenue per download is nearly $18
  • This is about three times more than Fire Emblem Heroes
  • Japanese players have spent an average of $25 per download in the first month
  • US players have spent an average of $8.50 per download
  • Fire Emblem Heroes grossed $5.80 per download in Japan during its first 30 days
