Dragon Quest XI S, the current latest entry in the Dragon Quest series, has been delisted from the eshop.
This news was announced by Square Enix on social media, stating that the game is “temporarily unavailable” for purchase in order to update the store listing. Players who have already bought a copy will still be able to play it and redownload it if needed, but new players will not be able to get the game.
This situation is similar to the temporary delisting of Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy, which were speculated to have been delisted due to a change of publisher from Nintendo to Square Enix. In both cases, the games were restored within about a month.
