Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders From Planet Space And Earth Defense Force 2017 Heading To Switch In Japan

D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot have announced they will be bringing two classic Earth Defense Force games to Switch later this year.

The two games are Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders From Planet Space and Earth Defense Force 2017, both of which were originally released for the PS Vita. Earth Defense Force 2 will be launching July 15th 2021 for Switch in Japan, while Earth Defense Force 2017 will be following in Fall.

The news was shared in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, where D3 Publisher producer Nobuyuki Okajima also revealed that they had planned to bring the first Earth Defense Force game SIMPLE 2000 Series Vol. 31: THE Earth Defense Force to Switch as well, but were unable to do so due to “technical difficulties”.
