Eiji Aonuma Teases At A Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword Port For Switch

For a long time now, many Legend of Zelda fans have clamored for a remastered port of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii). While games like Twilight Princess and Wind Waker received HD revisions, Skyward Sword never got the same love.

However, that could soon be changing – after Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma paid a surprise visit to The Legend of Zelda 2018 concert in Japan.

According to sources at the concert, Aonuma apparently told audiences “We know you guys are thinking about Skyward Sword for Switch, right?” from out of nowhere.

It is not clear if this was a tease for a Skyward Sword port, or if the Nintendo producer was just kidding around. If Aonuma was really dropping a hint, then Switch owners may get to experience once of the dark horses of the Zelda franchise eventually!

As with all speculation, we have no official word on whether a Skyward Sword port is even in the works. Do take this news with a large grain of salt.
