Publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware have announced they are delaying Elden Ring Tarnished Edition.
Originally planned to launch sometime this year, the Switch 2 version of Elden Ring has been pushed back to 2026. The delay announcement states that this is because additional time is needed for performance adjustments.
Previously, in-person demos for the title came under fire from testers, who said that the game ran very poorly on the new console. Hopefully, the delay will give the team the time needed to ensure that the official release goes well.
