Nicalis, Inc. today announced that Elliot Quest, the 8-bit throwback action/adventure game from developer Ansimuz Games, will get a physical release on Nintendo Switch on November 6, 2020. Fans can preorder the physical edition from store.nicalis.com starting today.
The Nintendo Switch Game Card will mark the first time that Elliot Quest is available in cartridge form—which is perfectly appropriate, as the game was designed to capture the spirit of classic 8-bit adventures. The packaging completes the homage with a full-color instruction manual and a retro-inspired reversible cover paying tribute to one game that influenced Elliot Quest directly.
In Elliot Quest, players explore the mysterious island of Urele in search of ancient and powerful elemental spirits. With five dungeons to conquer, powerful bosses to defeat, countless treasures and hidden areas to discover, it offers balanced gameplay that’s easy to pick up but challenging to master.
