Some familiar games in the gaming and entertainment sphere will soon fall under the Embracer Group.
The company has announced multiple acquisitions this week – which include publisher Limited Run Games, music game developer Singtrix, Teardown developer Tuxedo Labs, publisher Tripwire Interactive, and even the IP rights to J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit franchise.
In the case of Limited Run Games, the publisher will remain “an independent subsidiary with Josh Fairhurst (CEO) and Douglas Bogart (COO) continuing to lead the company” under the new “Embracer Freemode” operating group.
