Nintendo has revealed the first sales figures for Pokemon Pokopia as well as the Pokemon Firered/Leafgreen Switch re-releases.
As per Nintendo’s latest financial results briefing, Pokemon Pokopia managed to cross 4 million units sold within its first 5 weeks of release. Meanwhile the Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen ports for the Switch managed to reach that same figure in about 6 weeks, presumably as a combined total.
Reaching the 4 million figure is a fairly significant achievement for Pokemon Pokopia, seeing more success on the Switch 2 compared to the mainline Pokemon title Pokemon Legends Z-A, which has only sold 3.94 million units on the same console. The caveat here being that Pokemon Legends Z-A has most of its sales on the Switch 1, where it sold 8.85 million units.
