Engine Software Still Interested In Porting Killer7 To Switch
Last week, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle were released on the Switch eshop.
Shortly following the release, developer Suda51 confirmed on Twitter that Engine Software was responsible for porting the games to Switch. For the unaware, Engine Software was the company responsible for porting Killer7 to the PC. They were also rumored to be working on a Killer7 port for Switch as well, although that was quickly debunked by Engine Software’s owner & VP of development, Ruud van de Moosdijk.
That said, it seems that the company is still interested in helping to bring Killer7 to Switch for real, provided Suda51 is willing. Speaking to Nintendo Life, Moosdijk had this to say about the idea:
“As far as we know a Killer7 Switch version is currently not in the works. We have at least not discussed this with Suda-San. But who knows what the future brings? We have our hands full with Scott Pilgrim, TOCS4 and Ys IX but if Suda-San wants to work with us again we will of course always listen!”
