ESRB, the organization in charge of providing age ratings in North America, has announced a new In-Game Purchases label.
The label will be added to the box of all physical titles that support micro-transactions. This includes loot boxes, DLC, Season Pass, upgrades, and anything else that requires additional money to unlock.
This looks like a response from ESRB on the loot box issue. ESRB hasn’t revealed how the In-Game Purchases label looks like yet, but we can expect to have a first look in the weeks or months to come.
