Evo 2020 Organizers Say There Are No Plans To Cancel Or Postpone The Event

Recently, we’ve had news of several major gaming events being either cancelled or postponed due to concerns over the ongoing Coronavirus situation.

In response to this wave of postponements,  Evo founder and organizer Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar announced on Twitter that there are “no plans” to postpone Evo 2020, which will go on as scheduled from July 31 to August 1. Presumably, this is because the event is still far enough away that it might not be affected, much like E3.
