Following the cancellation of the physical event, the team behind EVO 2020 have officially announced details for its online replacement.
EVO Online 2020 will start this July, and will run for a total of five weekends with tournaments and exhibitions for most of its previously announced games lineup, although it seems Smash Ultimate may not be included. There will also be four open online tournaments for ” Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, Killer Instinct, Them’s Fightin’ Herds, and Skullgirls 2nd Encore“.
The tournament dates are as follows:
- July 4 to 5
- July 11 to 12
- July 18 to 19
- July 25 to 26
- July 31 to August 2
Registrations and more event information will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, you can watch a trailer for the event below:
