Expect Nintendo Switch shortages throughout 2017 due to shortage of components, says analyst

Nintendo has been having a rough time getting Nintendo Switch supply up, especially in countries such as the United States and Japan where demand is much higher due to upcoming hit titles like Splatoon 2 and Monster Hunter XX.

Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad expects the shortages to continue through the rest of the year, as component shortages are limiting the number of Switch units Nintendo is able to make.

Looks like it’s going to be pretty hard to find a Switch this year, especially during the lead up to the holidays.
