The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved an application by Nintendo regarding a Bluetooth “Wireless Control Device”. Given the description of the filing, which claims that the controller is “spherical” with a 48mm measurement, the controller is suspected to be the Poke Ball plus.
So it looks like the Poke Ball plus is approved for use Stateside and should be on time for Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee’s release on 16 November 2018
