Final Fantasy Composer Nobuo Uematsu Announces He Is Cutting Back On Videogame Music Production

Nobuo Uematsu, a longtime composer of the Final Fantasy series as well as Fantasian Neo Dimension has announced he is scaling back his work on videogame music.

This news was announced on his social media in an initial video message where he said that Fantasian Neo Dimension would be his “final” project as a videogame composer. After an initial wave of panic from his fans, Uematsu clarified that he was only scaling back his work on videogames slightly to make time for other projects, and his initial video was more about stepping away from composing entire soundtracks for games.
