Square Enix Asia has announced a physical edition for Final Fantasy IX on Nintendo Switch in Asia.
The physical edition will be released in Winter 2020 in Asia. Languages supported include English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. NintendoSoup Store will be taking pre-orders soon.
